We can here the string and the mechanism of the crossbow stretching and engaging, and then being released as the arrow is thrown at incredible speed toward its target, which it reaches a spit second later.
The arrow hits its target which is either a human being or an animal, as we can hear the sound of bones and flesh being crushed, and blood spilling out.
